Get Away From It All On Koh Phi Phi

long tail boatKoh Phi Phi may not be a well known name but it is definitely on the map. This perfect little island of twins is home to many kinds of tropical fruits and vegetables that grow both wild and introduced. There are a few farmers who have claimed the few flat spots of the island for their crops. Some actually climb hazardous cliff sides and semi trails to tend their gardens.

The ocean is clear and clean. Fish are abundant and the variety of species will amaze you as you snorkel the water surrounding the sandy white beaches of beautiful Koh Phi Phi. As you dive or snorkel along the beautiful coral reefs or the Ferry king cruiser wreck site you can become friendly with moray eels, leopard sharks and several species of ocean plant life.

There are places to hike all over the island too. The more adventurous people can opt for a boat ride around the bay to the steep limestone cliffs to challenge yourself to make it to their tops. Once you are at the summit you will be blessed with spectacular views of the entire oceanic view and more than half of the island itself. If you are very fortunate you may be able to catch a few glimpses of their whales in the waters beyond.

The hotel accommodations are plentiful and of superb quality for your pleasure. Some have complementary breakfast, offer wireless Internet and have jacuzzis inside the rooms. Romantic scenarios are possible in their beautifully decorated dining rooms. Candle lit tables and the best food prepared by the best chefs on the island will take you into sheer bliss.

A rejuvenating vacation will start with a step off the plane in neighboring Phuket or Krabi, followed by a short ferry or speedboat ride to Koh Phi Phi. During this short ride you will already start to relax as your cares blow away on the fresh sea air. And once you arrive at Tonsai Bay you will know that you have arrived in paradise.
